Interview Document Checklist
Hard copies of documents are not required during online registration. However, shortlisted candidates must bring the following original documents to the interview:
- CNIC issued by NADRA.
- All academic certificates/degrees.
- Domicile certificate.
- 2 passport-size photographs with a blue background.
- An affidavit countersigned by the respective Deputy Commissioner (for Minority quota applicants).
- Full family claim documents (FRC, pension book, retirement order) for candidates claiming seats as children/grandchildren of serving, retired, or deceased police employees.

Crucial Post-Selection Conditions
- NITB IT Training: Candidates appointed as Assistant (BS-15), UDC (BS-13), and LDC (BS-11) must successfully complete the mandatory IT training course from the National Information Technology Board (NITB) before their probation period finishes.
- Medical Screening: Final selection requires passing a comprehensive medical examination by a Federal Government Medical Board/Civil Surgeon. Candidates tested positive for Hepatitis B & C or any other perpetual ailments will face disqualification.
- Security Clearance: Successful candidates must receive complete security clearance prior to joining the Islamabad Police force.

- Online Portal: Visit www.npftas.pk or www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk to fill out the online application. Applications submitted via courier or by hand will be rejected.
- Fee Payment: Generate a 24-digit PSID fee challan from the portal. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- per post using 1Link-1Bill via Banks, ATMs, Internet Banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, U Paisa, or TimePay. Separate fees must be paid if applying for more than one position.
- Test Centers: Choose up to two test centers based on priority via the portal.
- Legal Warning: Ensure all information, including any past or ongoing criminal records/FIRs, is fully and correctly disclosed. Providing fake documentation or false affidavits is punishable under Section 420/468/471 PPC with up to seven years of imprisonment.
